From 59e25f421cc66585f1e960e4945cbd5c1389039a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Meleki Date: Mon, 8 Jun 2026 08:07:40 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Tell the model to actively resume after a CLI steering restart After a steering kill-and-restart the new claude child read the transcript, merely acknowledged the injected message, and ended the turn waiting passively for a background task that no longer existed (the kill also killed its child background processes). Add an explicit instruction to the work_in_progress block: actively continue and finish the task this run instead of just acknowledging, and treat any previously started background/async operations as gone (restart them if needed) rather than waiting on them.
