A new transient per-request toggle state (off→plan→ultracode→fusion→moa)
that whitelists the CLI's Workflow + Task tools so Anthropic's native
dynamic-workflow orchestration runs in gott's headless -p mode without a
permission gate (the engine silently denies Workflow otherwise). Effort is
raised to xhigh (the real ultracode equivalent; "ultracode" itself is not a
valid effort value) without downgrading an explicit max. Only enabled for
Claude models (z.ai/GLM has no workflow runtime) and not in plan mode. The
frontend injects a "use a workflow" hint, like plan mode injects its own.

Replace the separate panel_usage SSE event + frontend accumulator with
server-side seeding of the worker's usage object. Both the done-event and
FinalizeChain read from the same usage, so panel (Fusion/MoA) member tokens
now flow into the live badge AND the DB as a single source of truth — the
badge no longer drops to the worker-only value after F5.
- RunPanel takes a TokenUsage usageSink; accumulates member costs after the
Task.WhenAll barrier (single-threaded, no lock)
- ChatEndpoint passes panelUsage as seedUsage to all three worker paths
- StreamChat / StreamChatViaCli / OpenAI StreamChat fold seedUsage into usage
at creation time, so every exit path persists it
- OpenAI done-events extended with cacheCreation/cacheRead fields for live
consistency when seeded by Anthropic members
- chat.js: remove redundant _panelUsage / _addPanelUsage / panel_usage
- TODO.md: mark the live-only v1 boundary closed, note the new mechanism

Extend the panel engine with a layer loop: Fusion is one proposer round,
MoA runs N rounds where each round after the first sees the previous
round's responses via <previous_layer_responses> and refines its answer.
Only the final round is persisted; intermediate rounds are live-only.
Rounds are clamped to 1-5.
- SessionRecord + migration: moa_layers column (default 2)
- RunPanel: layer loop with per-member cloned message injection
- CloneForMember / BuildPreviousLayerBlock helpers for member isolation
- SSE: panel_layer_start / panel_layer_done events
- Frontend: layer_index composite keying, round dividers, MoA option
- Docs: ARCHITECTURE + ARCHITECTURE_QUICK updated
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Panel agents answer the user prompt in parallel (read-only, non-streaming);
their responses are merged into the worker's last user message as a
<panel_responses> block, and the session agent synthesizes one final
streamed answer. The RunPanel engine is built layer-ready for future MoA.
- New session fields: multi_model_mode (off/fusion), panel_agent_ids (CSV)
with idempotent column migration
- New partial Services/AnthropicService.Panel.cs holding the RunPanel engine
- Provider-agnostic members: Anthropic RunNonStreamingToolLoop / OpenAI
CompleteText / CLI plan-mode; all forced read-only, persisted with Tag=panel
- SSE events: panel_start, panel_member_start, panel_member_done, panel_done
- Frontend: multi-agent picker, live panel bubbles, history rendering
- Graceful degradation: panel errors fall back to worker-only

A steering message confirmed to the user as injected:true could still be
lost: after the loop's last HasPending check it runs out and the chain
finalizes (done event + final messages still streaming — the "few extra
messages" the user sees), then the finally block called Clear() and threw
the queue away. A message arriving in that window was accepted
(IsStreaming still true, Stop runs only in finally) but never drained and
never persisted, so it vanished after F5. Platform-independent; Windows
only widened the window via slower CLI teardown.
Replace the queue with a per-session gated state: Open() at chain start,
Close() at chain end. TryEnqueue() and Close() are mutually exclusive via
a per-session lock, so a confirmed injection can no longer be lost — the
loop either drains it or Close() returns it as leftover. The endpoint now
opens the gate at chain start, uses TryEnqueue as the authoritative check
(false → client resends as a normal message), and in finally closes the
gate and persists any leftover as Type="steer" instead of discarding it,
so it survives F5 and the model sees it on the next message.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Let the user inject a message into a running chain instead of only being
able to abort it. While a chain streams, typing + Enter sends the text to
a new /api/chat/steer endpoint; it is drained at the next iteration
boundary, wrapped with a hint so the model actively classifies it
("complements the task -> keep working" vs. "changes course -> adjust"),
and stored as a Type="steer" user message so it survives reload.
Shared infrastructure (provider-agnostic):
- SteeringQueue: out-of-band queue keyed by sessionId, mirrored from
StreamingTracker (Enqueue/Drain/Clear).
- Program.cs registers it as a singleton and passes it to AnthropicService.
- ChatEndpoint: POST /api/chat/steer enqueues only while IsStreaming,
Clear() in the finally.
- ChatService.BuildHistoryFromDb groups Type="steer" so no two
consecutive user turns are produced on re-chat.
- Frontend api.js/chat.js/bubbles.js/history.js + chat.css render the
optimistic steer bubble and the steer_injected SSE event; Enter during
a stream sends a steer instead of being blocked.
Anthropic API path:
- Drain point B (tool boundary, merged into the tool_result user turn)
and C (turn end -> inject + continue instead of finalize).
Claude CLI path (kill-and-restart):
- The agentic loop runs inside the claude child, so true mid-turn inject
is impossible. On a pending steer the child is killed at the next tool
boundary, progress is rebuilt from the DB as a <work_in_progress>
transcript, and the CLI is restarted with the steer appended.

Opus 4.5+ and Sonnet 4.6+ support a new "effort" knob that controls how
much budget the model spends on thinking and tool calls. Plumb it through
end to end so each agent can pick its own level.
Storage & shape:
- New TEXT column agents.effort (default '') added via TryAddColumn.
- AgentRecord.Effort + INSERT/UPDATE in DatabaseService.Agents.cs.
- ChatContext.Effort + SubAgentContext.Effort so the value travels with the
request alongside model and tool settings.
Agent editor:
- Effort dropdown above git-commit behavior in the agent form (low/medium/
high/xhigh/max plus empty = "use default"). Always visible; on OpenAI
providers the value is sent but silently ignored.
- agent-page.js load/save and AgentEndpoint create/update wired up.
Anthropic API path:
- StreamChat and RunNonStreamingToolLoop add output_config: { effort } when
effort is set and not "high" – empty/null/"high" means "omit and let the
API pick its default".
- Sub-agents (preparer/review/finalizer) get the parameter through
RunAgentChat so each step uses its own agent's effort.
Anthropic CLI path:
- ClaudeCliService.ChatStreamingAsync takes an effort parameter and exports
CLAUDE_CODE_EFFORT_LEVEL on the spawned process. Env-var beats the
--effort flag because it also covers "max" and "ultracode".
- StreamChatViaCli, ChatNonStreamingViaCli, RunSubAgentViaCli, and the
ChatEndpoint anthropic branches all hand the value through.
ARCHITECTURE.md / ARCHITECTURE_QUICK.md updated with the new field.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Auto-Continue: tool_choice="required" erzwingt Tool-Call statt erneuter Ankündigung,
- Direktive Continuation-Message statt einfaches "Continue."
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>
tool_choice:"auto", max_tokens, stream_options, extra_body)
- Tool-Input (Argumente) wird im SSE tool_end-Event mitgesendet (fehlte im OpenAI-Pfad)
- Leere Bubbles durch Whitespace-only Text nach </think>-Extraktion behoben
(Trim in DB-Save, BuildHistoryFromDb und Frontend-Guard)
- History-Toggle-Bug: var→const in for-Loop (Block-Scoping für Closures),
tool_result-Matching per data-tool-call-id statt blindes letztes Element
- Non-Streaming max_tokens für MiniMax auf 32768 + extra_body.reasoning_split
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>
beim DB-History-Aufbau). Konvention von MiniMax-Docs, wird auch von DeepSeek-R1,
QwQ, Kimi K2 verstanden.
- ChatEndpoint, SessionEndpoint, CronjobService, TelegramService, ToolService:
includeThinking je nach Provider durchgereicht. Anthropic-Pfad bleibt aus
(lehnt thinking-Blöcke ohne Signature ab).
- OpenAiService: ask_user_choice-Intercept im Streaming-Pfad (analog
AnthropicService.Streaming) – Tool nicht ausführen, SSE user_choice rausschicken,
mit stopReason awaiting_user_choice finalisieren und return.
- OpenAiService: MiniMax-SSE-Debug-Log in data/openai-debug/ (JSONL: Header +
Roh-data-Zeilen + Summary mit promptTokens/completionTokens/finishReason/
toolCalls/duration) – nur für provider=="minimax", nicht-blockierend.

Statt Hard-Error "Kein API-Key zugewiesen" nutzen Sub-Agents jetzt
Claude CLI als Fallback. Preparer wird nur übersprungen wenn weder
Key noch CLI verfügbar sind.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Remote-Verbindung). InternalEndpoint um PendingChoices + choice-respond Endpoint
ergänzt. Frontend differenziert CLI-Modus (choice-respond API) vs. API-Modus.
Gesamter :::ASK_USER_CHOICE::: Text-Marker-Mechanismus aus ClaudeCliService,
AnthropicService, markdown.js und stream-ui.js entfernt.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Python MCP-Server (stdio, JSON-RPC 2.0) für remote_execute via Claude CLI
- Interner API-Endpoint /api/internal/remote-execute mit Token-Auth

- Port bleibt als einziges Setting in appsettings.Production.json (erfordert Neustart)
- ServerSettingsEndpoint: liest/schreibt DB statt JSON-Datei, Port als Sonder-Setting
- IConfiguration komplett entfernt aus allen Services (ChatService, ToolService, AnthropicService,
OpenAiService, KreaService, TelegramService, KeyScannerService, GitHubEventScannerService)
- Dokumentation aktualisiert (ARCHITECTURE.md, ARCHITECTURE_QUICK.md, README.md)
Backend:
- is_active komplett entfernt, durch is_public (Admin-Toggle) ersetzt
- Neues selected_api_key_id auf users-Tabelle
- AnthropicService: globaler _token entfernt, apiToken pro Request
- Token-Durchreichung: StreamChat → ProcessStream → RunAgentChat →
RunPreparer/RunReview/RunFinalizer, ExecuteTool, send_to_session
- ChatEndpoint: User-Key aus DB laden, an StreamChat übergeben
- TelegramService: Key per bot.UserId auflösen
- CronjobService: Key per job.UserId auflösen
- Neue Endpoints: GET /api/api-keys/available, PUT /api/api-keys/select/{keyId},
GET /api/api-keys/selected, PUT /api/admin/api-keys/{keyId}/public,
POST /api/admin/api-keys/check-all
- Program.cs: AnthropicService ohne Token-Parameter
Frontend:
- API-Keys-Page: Public-Toggle (Globe/Lock) statt Activate/Deactivate

- Sicherheitscheck: Ziel-Session muss demselben User gehören, keine eigene Session
- Zirkuläre Abhängigkeit ChatService ↔ AnthropicService via SetChatService() gelöst
- tool-ui.js: Display-Name für send_to_session
- RemoteConnectionManager: Singleton-Service verwaltet WebSocket-Verbindungen
Architektur: Windows-Client → WebSocket → GOTT-Server → Agent-Tool
Session-gebunden: Eine Verbindung wird einer Session zugeordnet
Stop-Button: Zwei Stufen statt einer:
- 1. Klick: Graceful Stop (workCt) - laufende API-Calls/Tools abbrechen
- 2. Klick: Hard Stop (hardCt) - sofortiger Abbruch aus while-Loop
StreamingTracker: Zwei separate CancellationTokenSources (StopCts + HardCts),
Cancel() gibt 'graceful'/'hard'/null zurück je nach Stufe.
ReadLineAsync Cancellation-Fix: StreamReader.ReadLineAsync propagiert den
CancellationToken nicht zuverlässig an den underlying NetworkStream.
Bei extended thinking blockiert ReadLineAsync minutenlang ohne Reaktion
auf Cancellation. Fix: workCt.Register() disposed den HTTP-Stream,
damit ReadLineAsync sofort mit Exception abbricht.
Bug-Fix: OperationCanceledException in RunAgentChat/ChatNonStreaming wurde
vom generischen catch(Exception) geschluckt - Agent lief trotz Stop weiter.
Jetzt: catch(OperationCanceledException) { throw; } vor catch(Exception).
Frontend: Stop-Button zeigt Hard-Stop visuell (rot + Pulse-Animation),
SSE-Stream wird erst beim 2. Klick clientseitig abgebrochen.
- Kestrel MinResponseDataRate per-Request deaktivieren für SSE-Streams
(Default 240 bytes/s + 5s Grace → client_disconnected bei langen Tools)
- SSE-Heartbeat alle 15s während Stream (schützt gegen Browser/Netzwerk-Idle)
- History-Trimming: RemoveRange schneidet nicht mehr in tool_use/tool_result-Paare
- Reminder-Insertion: kein Einfügen zwischen tool_use und tool_result
- HttpResponseMessage mit using disposen (3 Stellen in AnthropicService)
verhindert Socket-Exhaustion unter Windows (2 Connections/Host Limit)
- SSE DisableBuffering() in ChatEndpoint für sofortigen Flush unter Windows
- Execute: stdout/stderr vor WaitForExitAsync lesen statt danach
verhindert Pipe-Deadlock bei vollem Buffer (Windows: 4KB)
- Plan-Modus: Frontend sendet planMode bei Choice-Response mit
Backend-Fallback auf vorherigen Chain entfernt - User-Entscheidung gilt
- SystemPromptBuilder.BuildReminder(): generiert automatisch Reminder-Text
promptBlocks an BuildHistoryFromDb
Kernproblem: Claude vergisst [FORWARD]-Tag → Preparer leitet nie weiter.
- Session-Agent bekommt saubere History ohne Sub-Agent-Messages
(nach Preparer-Phase frisch aus DB geladen)
- [QUESTION] wird im Frontend-Markdown ausgeblendet
- Neues optionales Session-Feld 'preparerAgentId' (DB + Model + API)
- Ohne [FORWARD] → Rückfrage an User, Flow stoppt (preparer_query)
- Preparer-System-Prompt: erklärt Rolle, [FORWARD]-Mechanismus, Vorarbeit
- Preparer kann eigene Tools + Fähigkeiten aktiv nutzen
- ChatEndpoint: Preparer-Phase vor StreamChat integriert
- Frontend: SSE-Events (preparer_start/text/tool_use/done)
- Preparer-Bubble (Info-Farbe) mit Status Weitergeleitet/Rückfrage
- [Preparer: Name] → hübscher Header, [FORWARD] ausgeblendet
- [Vorbereitet von Name] → dezenter Header in User-Bubble
- Agent-Picker im Session-Form (vor Review-Agent)
- Toggle-Button (🗺️) im Chat-Input-Bereich neben Explorer
- Plan-Modus wird per ChatRequest.planMode an Backend gesendet
- Backend: Write-Tools gefiltert (nur read_file, list_files, glob, grep,
todo_write, memory_*, ask_user_choice bleiben), System-Prompt-Block
ergänzt der Änderungen verbietet, tool_choice nie 'any' erzwungen
- ChainRecord.PlanMode: pro Chain gespeichert (informativ für History)
- Chain-Meta-Badge '📋 Plan-Modus' bei Plan-Chains
- Choice-Response erbt planMode vom vorherigen Chain
- CSS: .plan-mode-active Styling (Primary-Color Highlight)

Backend:
- ToolService: ask_user_choice Tool-Definition (question + choices[2-5])
Frontend:
- api.js: apiChatChoice() für Choice-Responses
- chat.js: handleStreamEvent() als shared Handler extrahiert (sendMessage +
handleChoiceClick nutzen denselben Code), handleChoiceClick() startet neuen
Stream nach Button-Klick
- ui.js: addChoiceBubble() (live/interaktiv) + addChoiceBubbleStatic() (History)
- history.js: Choice-Bubbles in _renderMessagesIntoFragment + renderMessages,
Voraus-Suche nach zugehörigem tool_result, unbeantwortet = klickbare Buttons
- chat.css: Styling für Choice-Bubbles (Primary-Color-Outline-Buttons, Hover,
Selected/Unselected States)

- [APPROVED] in Review-Antwort → fertig, sonst Feedback an Worker
- SSE-Events: review_start, review_text, review_tool_use, review_feedback, review_approved
- Chat-UI: Review-Phase als eigene Bubble mit Header, Text, Status
- Session-Page: Review-Agent-Picker (gleicher Agent-Card-Helper)
- Dashboard: Review-Agent-Badge auf Session-Cards
- DB-Migration: review_agent_id, max_review_iterations auf sessions
Backend:
- GetChainMessages: includeDeleted-Parameter (Default: false)
- Archiv-Export nutzt includeDeleted: true
Frontend:
- messages[]-Array komplett entfernt (kein Client-seitiger History-State mehr)
- _autoLoadImageAttachments() für History/Archiv/ältere Nachrichten
- Klick auf Inline-Bild öffnet Vollbild-Modal
