adminandClaude Opus 5 60ea56a2ce Open asset greyed out and real tab cards: Open asset in the scene object menu is only pickable for kinds with an editor of their own, the table of which asset opens which tab moved from Editor.ts into the new module assetTabs.ts with hasAssetEditor so the menu and the editor read the same list, Select asset stays as it was; tabs are drawn as index cards (new module TabButton.ts): the one showing is a light grey card instead of the aggressive blue, rounded above and square below, its name in plain weight and measured bold so it never clips itself, and a mouse down on the tab already showing keeps its colour; the padding left and right grew to 6 px in one place for both kinds of tab, Scene and Game carry an icon too (the scene one from the asset panel, a new game.svg play sign), Plugins and a plugin's own tab have none; new test hook menuEnabled next to menuRows and menuIcons, e2e 01 checks the greyed out entry on a sprite row, 14a-ii the card and the icons of the fixed tabs, 44a the icon at the wider padding (#176)

adminandClaude Opus 5 4b5b91eaaa Open asset in the scene object menu: the context menu of a scene object row has an Open asset entry below Select asset that does the same as a double click on the asset in the asset panel, so it selects the asset and opens its tab; kinds without an editor of their own (sprite, camera, text, collider) are only selected, just like the double click there; e2e 01 right clicks a behavior row and checks the open tab (#176)

admin 7e5003b590 A test that waits for a deadline somebody guessed is waiting for the wrong thing, so it waits for the editor (#93)
game-maker / suite (push) Successful in 6m48s
The suite spent 88% of its step time asleep: 564 s of steps, 496 s of
them in sleep(n) - fixed spans estimated by hand and then copied from
step to step. That is why it was slow, and why it flickered.

The signal is afterFrames(count, timeout) in ui/render.ts, exposed as
__gm.afterFrames(). It wakes the loop itself, because an editor that
draws nothing would never redeem a promise of a frame, and it gives up
after a timeout instead of hanging the run. settle() in the harness
waits two drawn frames (~32 ms) instead of 150-300 ms and falls back to
sleep(150) when the hook is missing (an old build): silently not
waiting would make every later check a coin toss.

Every action goes through it now - click, doubleClick, wheel, drag,
dragAsset, press, typeText, select, mutate, undo, redo - and with that
about 550 sleep() calls behind those actions became redundant, helpers
that are nothing but a mutate in a coat included. What a frame cannot
answer got its own condition instead: waitUntil(expr), play()/stop()
waiting on __gm.state.mode rather than on 300 ms, saved() for the
autosave (the two hand-written polling loops sampled at 300 ms for
something that arrives after a second), and showTab() as a real tool -
47 places called evaluate("__gm.showTab(...)") raw, and 24 of them
waited for nothing at all and read the old panel.

564 s -> 243 s of step time, the waiting share 88% -> 76%. Three kinds
of wait were kept, and each one bit when it was taken away: loading
bytes (textures, fonts), game time that a repaint cannot stand in for
(time scale, shader and particle clocks, the live values a running
graph carries), and the inertia the scroll step measures on purpose.

Two things the new speed uncovered, both real: 25-animation read the
frame menu unfiltered and had frozen an incomplete list (the CI failure
on c990dbc), and 33-render-on-change measured idleness while the
autosave of the step before was still painting - it waits for
saveStatus to leave dirty/saving now, so it measures that nothing
happens any more instead of that it waited long enough.

root ed1fe31c77 Count clicks ourselves so double-clicks work at all
Pixi only fills `detail` on the `click` event it synthesises; on
`pointerdown` it is always 0, so every `e.detail === 2` branch was dead
code. Asset rows, hierarchy folding and select-all in text fields never
responded to a double-click.

A shared click counter in src/ui/clicks.ts replaces the three readings of
`e.detail`. A finished double-click ends the run, so two in a row count
2 and 2 rather than 3 and 4.

The harness could only send `clickCount: 1`, which is why no test caught
this: every "activate" check went through Enter. It can send real
double-clicks now, and five checks drive the three paths separately.

rootandClaude Opus 5 9d93020bd8 Add a Container tab and propagate template edits
The Container tab reuses SceneViewport against any object holder, so a
container template is edited exactly like a scene. Right-click no longer
changes the selection, which previously made nesting impossible: opening
the menu on a container loaded it, and "Place in container" then targeted
itself.

Template edits (move, rename, override) now reach already-placed instances
per slot, through a shared templateSync used by both the apply path and the
plain object commands. Copies the user has touched keep their own value.

rootandClaude Opus 5 d54a620ebd Add ESLint and Prettier, and close the node test gaps
Tooling:
- Prettier as the single formatting authority (110 columns, single quotes,
measured against the existing style); Markdown excluded because table-cell
padding turns the README glossary into 1000-character lines.
- Type-aware ESLint ending in eslint-config-prettier, so a rule always means
"this is a bug", never "this looks different".
- .editorconfig and an `npm run check` that runs typecheck, lint, format and
  tests in one go.

Findings fixed on the first run: three more duplicate imports, four
String(unknown) calls (parameter types narrowed instead of casts), two dead
initialisers, two redundant casts, a console.log for a real error. Two
warnings were false here and are disabled with a reason in place.

Tests 132 -> 269:
- node-catalog.test.ts covers every node with a run(), with a guard that fails
when a new node has no row.
- behavior-events.test.ts covers the ten event nodes through a running World,
  checking timing rather than existence.
- Input's state machine (press/release/releaseAll) is reachable without DOM
events now; the DOM handlers are thin adapters.

Compare fell back to == without a configured operator although the schema
default is <; aligned.

rootandClaude Fable 5.1 1eb28314cf Refactoring: one file per node, consistent comments, shared helpers, split large modules
- Graph: nodes.ts split into nodes/<category>/<Type>.ts (62 files) with
  shared.ts factories and index.ts registry; NodeContext/values/NodeRegistry
separated, writeTyped() replaces duplicated typed writes
- Comments: one style (JSDoc on non-obvious exports, // for decisions and
traps), wrong/stale comments fixed or removed, ids.ts now real 10 base-36 chars
- Core: chainOf, shared worldPosition/editorPosition core, commands/require.ts,
  commands/naming.ts, util/list.ts, setBagValue/toPosition/propDef; dead code
  removed (isBehaviorAsset, SCENE_OBJECT_SCHEMA, CommandStack.subscribe,
Input.axis, setMode, titleText, World.worldPosition, unused ctor params)
- Editor: Inspector split into inspector/ sections, App.ts into Editor.ts +
  debugHook.ts + shortcuts.ts, Viewport into items.ts + symbols.ts, shared
"Add collider" action, unified type labels/swatches
- UI toolkit: Widget.trackHover/onPointerRelease, drawControlBox, math helpers,
Popup.openBelow, Menu/Dialog/ColorPicker/ListRow in own files, named Theme sizes
- Tools: seed-demo/smoke-demo and demo-check project removed, tools/lib
(harness, projects, builders), e2e.mjs as runner over tools/e2e/*.mjs sections
- Tests: tests/helpers.ts replaces copied fixtures and NodeContext doubles
