Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z / Ctrl+Y undo/redo (Cmd works wherever Ctrl does) · Delete or
Backspace remove the selection (objects, nodes, frames, the shapes of a vector art, keys or a row of the Animation tab, a graph group or comment — the box only, its nodes stay, and a band that caught boxes and nodes together removes both in one step; a link or transition picked on its line; an asset asks first) · Ctrl+G create
container from the selection — on the shapes of a vector drawing it groups them, and Ctrl+Shift+G ungroups (Vector art) · Ctrl+Enter play, and pause/resume while playing · Ctrl+Shift+Enter next frame while paused · Esc stop ·
Esc on a question does what its Cancel does ·
while the eyedropper of an object variable picks, Enter takes the candidate and Esc leaves
without it, before anything else those keys do (Behaviors) ·
Ctrl+C copy the selected objects or graph nodes, Ctrl+V paste them
under the pointer (Scene editing, Behaviors) · Ctrl+V import an image from
the clipboard as a texture when nothing copied fits the tab (ignored while a text field has focus) · Animation tab: Ctrl+C copy
the picked keys, Ctrl+V paste them at the playhead (while keys are copied this takes Ctrl+V
there, so an image is pasted from another tab), Ctrl+drag duplicate keys · Pattern tab: Space play/stop, Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V copy the picked notes and paste them where playing starts, Ctrl+D duplicate them behind themselves, Ctrl+A pick all, ↑/↓ a semitone (Shift an octave), ←/→ a grid step (Shift a bar), Alt while drawing, moving or lengthening leaves the grid (Patterns) · Song tab: Space play/stop, Delete the picked items (else the picked track), Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V copy the picked items and paste them where playing starts, Ctrl+D duplicate them behind themselves, Ctrl+E split them where playing starts, Ctrl+A pick all, ↑/↓ a track, ←/→ a grid step (Shift a bar), Alt while moving or sizing leaves the grid (Songs) · Tab / Shift+Tab cycle fields (in the Game tab with no field focused, Tab is a game key like any other, and the key field of On key down takes it too) · lists: ↑/↓ move,
←/→ fold, Enter activates · number
fields: drag to scrub (Shift x10, Alt x0.1, snapping to the grid of that increment, so a
step-1 field lands on whole numbers), ↑/↓ step, shown with at most three decimals and without trailing zeros
(100, 0.5, 9.091; ui/math.ts, NUMBER_DECIMALS, the same in the inspector, the graph
and every tab), the value itself is kept at that precision — fields that are integral by nature
(frame rectangles, the slice dialog, a camera's view size, font size, the key-repeat
milliseconds, the index and count ports of list and text nodes) set NumberField's
decimals: 0 and round to whole numbers · viewport: wheel zooms in whole steps (1/8, 1/4, 1/2,
then 1 to 6, 8, 12, 16, 24 screen pixels per world pixel; see Scene editing),
each step shown as a short transition (see The tab row in Concepts),
middle-drag or Shift+drag pans, drag on empty space rubber-bands, Ctrl/Shift-click toggles an
object in the selection (hierarchy rows too) · tilemap panel: holding Alt switches to Pick — a click takes that cell's tile from the active layer — and releasing it brings back the tool before (Tilemaps) · Vector art tab: Alt-click a point to make it symmetric and straight again, Esc ends the line the Pen is drawing, Delete removes the selected shapes, picked on the canvas or in the list, and on the frame round the selection Shift keeps the proportions while a square is pulled, Alt scales about the middle and Shift on the knob turns in steps of 15 degrees (Vector art) · wherever points are edited (Curve tab, Vector art tab, a polygon collider in the scene view, a frame's collision outline in the Texture tab): a double-click on the line puts a point there, a click picks one, and with a point picked Delete takes that point instead of the selection; a right-click on a point opens its menu.
