Clips: rows in the asset panel, drag onto tracks, links (#425)
- Concepts: a sound or video with clips folds out one row per clip in
the asset panel. A clip row drags like an asset, and a link in the
inspector can point at a clip itself. The Plays row of an audio item
names the clip.
- Compositions: a video clip dropped on a track becomes an item as
long as the clip, wearing its video's sprite with the clip as texture
override. Sound clips come from the panel too. The "Not yet" line on
clips of a video is gone.
- Songs: a clip of a sound is dragged from the panel onto a lane.

Describe streaming long sounds from an Opus copy (#349)
- Sounds: the Stream row, a new section on what streams, what the
copy is, what stays decoded, and the measured memory.
- Songs: a bake is streamed now, not decoded with the project.
- Architecture: streams, streamQueue, streaming and StreamKeeper.
- Development: 1935 e2e checks.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Songs: a section Baking, what is in a bake and what stays live, when
it holds, the loop, the file and its memory, measured in e2e 64.
- Patterns: Play pattern plays a bake that holds, with a link there.
- Architecture: bake and ogg in core/music, bakeRender, the bake voice
and the offline library in viewport, BakeButton in editor/music.
- Development: 1928 checks.

Bring the sound pages and Architecture up to date (#85, round 10)
Refactoring round 10 checked the wiki against the code since round 9.
Most of what had gone stale is about sound.
- Architecture: src/core/soundfx, src/core/instrument,
src/editor/sound, src/editor/soundfx, src/editor/instrument and
src/editor/routing had no row. src/core/music named five of its
fifteen modules. The worklet was still called pitchWorklet. New
are fxNodes, PreviewParams, nodes/shared, addLink and
drawFloatingBox.
- Home: "Sound has no mixer, no fade" is not so since the buses, the
Master routing and the fades of songs. The rows of Sounds and
Songs name what the pages cover now.
- Songs: a new song snaps to 1/16 since #365, the intro still said
the bar. "Not yet" named the Reverb (#328) and a bus without sound
FX, both there by now.
- Instruments: "Not yet" named the Phaser (#341), which is there.
- Patterns, Songs, Instruments: swing points to #372, the end of a
song to #373. Lines that ran past the width are wrapped.
- Every path the wiki and the README name exists.

Describe the tabs' preview straight into the master (#368)
- Sounds: the tabs leave the Master routing out and play into the
master. A song's own routing still counts.
- Songs and Instruments say the same where they named the links.
Describe the 1/16 grid and how new assets are routed (#365)
- Songs: a new song snaps to 1/16, Bar stays a choice.
- Sounds: a new or duplicated asset takes the links most others of
its type have. A new bus goes to the master.
- Development: 1910 checks.

Describe the Master routing graph instead of Bus and Into (#351)
The rows Bus and Into are gone. Sounds, instruments, patterns, songs
and buses are routed in one graph per project now.
- Sounds: the section Master routing replaces Buses and the master.
- Songs, Patterns and Instruments point there instead of a Bus row.
- Development counts 1909 checks.

Describe a pattern's Sign row from the song's list (#364)
- Patterns: the rows Beats per bar and Beat are now the one row Sign.
- Instruments: the meter comes from one list of signs for song and
pattern.
- Songs: an embedded copy keeps its tempo and sign.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Describe Fit both ways, the deeper zoom and a song's Sign (#362, #363)
- Songs: Fit takes the tracks down too and leaves 9 % free on every
side. The time zooms in eight times as far as in the Pattern tab
(#362).
- Songs: one row Sign replaces Beats per bar and Beat. An embedded
pattern keeps its own tempo and meter (#363).
- Development: 1908 checks.

Describe the level meters and the limiter at the output (#359)
- Songs has a new section Levels and clipping: what the meters of the
tracks and Out show, where they measure, the clip lamp, grey meters
and the measured values from e2e 65.
- The heads and the ruler in the Song tab name the meters.
- Sounds tells of the fixed limiter after the master, its 5 ms delay
and that it waits for the FX worklet.
- Development counts 1901 editor checks.

Describe that solo wins over mute of the same track (#358)
Songs, Mute and solo along the routing: a track that is muted and
soloed at once is heard as soloed.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Describe faint clips and the embedded assets a song shares (#357)
- Sounds: the clip area shrinks with the wave when zoomed out, a click
beside the picked clip picks the sound, and the clips not picked lie
faint over the wave.
- Songs: an embedded sound, pattern or sound FX is shared by the places
of its song and goes with the last one. A paste into another song
makes one copy. The picks offer what the song keeps.
- Development: 1898 checks.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Sounds: a new section Clips. The Sound tab is rewritten for the
strip of clip bands, the cut works on the picked clip, and Whole
file is gone.
- Songs, Instruments: a sound field offers the clips of each sound.
- Development: 1897 editor checks.

Describe the voice limit and when previews stop (#356)
- Instruments: at most 12 ways through the pitch worklet at once, a
preset plays nothing, and closing the tab stops what it plays.
- Sounds: the leak of ended voices on the bus, with the measured
numbers before and after. Closing the tab and starting the game
stop what the Sound and Sound FX tabs play.
- Songs and Patterns: game start and closing the tab stop playback.
- Development: 1893 checks.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Songs: the routing snaps with the magnet next to Routing, which is
greyed out on the timeline. The old line promised a snap that was
never built.
- Development: 1890 checks.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Songs: new section "A sound FX of its own" and a note at the FX
button of a track head.
- Songs, Not yet: a pattern item can get a pattern of its own since
Embed a copy, the old sentence said otherwise.
- Development: 1889 checks.

Songs gets the Create pattern row in the menu table and a section on
the embedded pattern: where the item lands, which instrument it
plays, the song's clock and the hidden rows. Development counts the
two new checks of e2e 65.

A recorded take now lives inside its song instead of the Assets
panel. Songs explains what that means for playing, editing and
deleting.
- Songs: new section Embedded assets, the item menu with Open,
Make project asset and Embed a copy, and the take named Take 1.
- Development: 1885 checks.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Sounds, instruments, patterns and songs have a row Sound FX of their
own. Items and Play nodes follow it unless they pick another one.
- Sounds: new section "The sound FX of an asset". It says where each
kind of asset applies it and what From the asset and None mean.
- Songs: the new row, From the asset and None on items and on the fx
input of Play song, the double-click on a sound item, the order of
the FX, and what e2e 65 measured.
- Patterns: the new row and the fx input of Play pattern.
- Instruments: the fx input of Play note.
- Development: 1881 checks (3 new in e2e 65).
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The Song tab has a Routing view now. The Songs page explains it.
- Songs: new section Routing with the nodes, the sends (volume and the
three modes), loops, the "Goes nowhere" warning and the latency
compensation per send, with measured values.
- Songs: mute and solo act along the routing, with the case of tracks
going into a soloed track and into the output. Header, FX order and
Not yet are brought in line.
- Development: 1872 checks.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Sounds: new section Buses and the master, new rows Bus and the
bus asset in the tables.
- Patterns, Songs, Instruments: the row Bus.
- Behaviors: the input bus on the play nodes, Set bus volume and
Bus volume.
- Development: 1867 checks.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Describe ghost notes from the song in the piano roll (#339)
- Patterns: new section "Ghost notes from the song", with the header
switch, panning back to the song's start, drawing only inside the
pattern and the measured values.
- Songs: the double-click on a pattern item links there.
- Development: 1860 checks.
Describe sound FX on tracks, items and whole songs (#346)
- Songs: a new section on the FX box in the track head, the item's
Sound FX, Play pattern and Play song with fx, and the latency the
bus pitch shifter brings and how it is made up.
- Sounds: a new section A Pitch on a bus.
- Instruments, Patterns, Behaviors: the new inputs fx and fx params.
- Development: 1857 checks.
- Songs: new section Recording, Esc and Space while recording in the
key table.
- Development: chromium's fake microphone in the e2e browser, 1833
checks.

Update the music tabs for zoom, loop strip, edges and paste
Patterns and Songs follow the last three commits of the editor.
- Patterns: the loop strip over the ruler, the wheel zoom, Audition,
sizing a note by its left end, the cursor on the nearest line,
panning before bar 1 and past the rows, Shift, paste under the
pointer and Fit zooming the rows.
- Songs: one track for a new song, tracks from the head menu, the
item menu, a click on empty space, +12 dB, edge hover, loop seams,
one bar at least, pulling items out left, snapping to rounds,
paste under the pointer and the zoom limits.
- Home: one line on the music tabs.
- Development: 1828 checks.
